Online Impersonation to be a Felony in Arizona

Online Impersonation to be a Felony in ArizonaResidents of Arizona who have experienced getting their identity stolen online can now rest easy. Following in the footsteps of New York, California, Washington, and Texas, the state of Arizona has a bill against online impersonation in the works.

“If you’re going to impersonate someone and you’re going to threaten, harm or defraud them, it should be against the law because of the ramifications to the individual,”State Rep. Michelle Ugenti told the Arizona Republic.
The state already has laws on the matter, however they are not clearly defined.
