Still No Power After Suspected DUI Crash

Unfortunately, nearly 600 customers still don’t have electricity after an alleged drunk driver crashed his vehicle into two power poles last Wednesday morning.

According to report, the single-car accident took place in El Segundo Boulevard and Sheldon Street. The suspect’s vehicle knocked down to power poles which then resulted to an electrical outage.

Spokesman for Southern California Edison mentioned in his statement that there were more than 4,000 customers who were initially affected by the outage. Although the power was restored a few hours after the incident, still about 600 individual remain without electricity.
