Police Officer Pleaded to a Lesser DUI Charge

Police Officer Pleaded to a Lesser DUI ChargeRelative to a DUI case, police officer Ryan McGreevy pleaded no contest last Tuesday in order to reduce a drunken driving charge.

According to the plea deal, the officer agreed to plead no contest to a DUI charge. Consequently, his DUI charge was dismissed by Sonoma County Courthouse. McGreevy was then sentenced to two years probation during which he is restricted to drive while intoxicated.

Police said there were no field sobriety tests that were performed at the time the suspect was arrested. But then McGreevy’s blood alcohol content level was at 0.11 percent.
