Irvine Man Killed a 14-Year Old Girl in a DUI Crash

Austin Jeffrey Farley of Irvine was convicted and sentenced last Friday to 21 years in prison for driving under the influence that killed a 14-year old teenager.

According to report, Farley was convicted of second-degree murder and driving under the influence in connection with the death of Ashton Sweet. During the investigation, it was found out that Farley’s blood alcohol content level was 2 ½ times the legal limit.

“I realize that I made a few poor decisions in my past. Drinking and driving being my worst. That does not make me a bad person. I just simply made a mistake,” he said.
