Former Mayoral Candidate Pleaded Guilty to DUI Charge

Former Pittsburgh mayoral candidate AJ Richardson, 37 years old, pleaded guilty to a DUI charge last Tuesday.

Judge Thomas Flaherty sentenced Richardson to six months on probation. He also ordered the former mayoral candidate to attend the four-day DUI alternative-to-jail program and pay a mandatory fine worth $1,000.

According to report, Richardson was arrested last April 3 when police found him slumped over the wheel of a running vehicle. Apart from refusing to submit himself to a blood alcohol test, he also became very hostile during his arrest.
