City Official in Florence Pleaded Guilty to DUI

Richard Lunnemann, Florence city official, pleaded guilty to a DUI charge in a Boone County courtroom last Monday.

According to report, Lunnemann was pulled over last April 11 by a Boone County Sheriff’s deputy because his tail lights weren’t turned on. Police said the suspect’s speech was slurred and he also smelled alcohol when he was initially interrogated.

Lunnemann performed three sobriety tests but he failed all of them. His license was suspended and he was also ordered to pay $200 fine.
